Day 1 Aswan – Philae – Kom Ombo – Maniha

Begin your journey with a personalized pick-up from your hotel or Aswan airport, where your friendly Egyptologist guide greets you like an old friend. As you drive through Aswan, known as the “Land of Gold,” take in the palm-lined riverbanks and granite hills before arriving at Philae Temple. Dedicated to Isis, the goddess of healing and magic, Philae’s majestic columns and mythological reliefs were rescued from rising waters and rebuilt stone-by-stone on higher ground. It’s one of Egypt’s most powerful sites—and the perfect start to your journey.

After exploring Philae, it’s time to board your elegant Dahabiya and settle into your cabin. The sail begins gently as you drift toward Kom Ombo, where the twin gods Horus and Sobek are honored in a perfectly symmetrical double temple. Unique wall carvings detail ancient surgical instruments and offer insight into Egypt’s medical history. After sunset, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner onboard as the boat glides toward the peaceful island of Maniha. The evening is yours—relax on deck, gaze at the stars, and start to feel the rhythm of Nile life.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2 Gebel El Silsila – Bassao Village – Fawaza Island

Wake to the sound of water lapping softly against the boat and enjoy breakfast on deck with panoramic river views. Today’s first stop is Gebel El Silsila, once the main sandstone quarry that supplied materials for temples across Egypt. Unlike the tourist-filled monuments, this hidden site is quiet and spiritual, with chapels cut directly into the cliffs and stories etched into the rock by the workers who once toiled here.

Sailing onward, we stop at Bassao, a small Nubian village nestled on the riverbank. Here, you'll step off the boat and into a simpler time—walk through farms, meet locals, and gain a genuine glimpse into rural Egyptian life. The Dahabiya anchors near Fawaza Island for a quiet evening. Dine under the stars with the soft hum of the river in the background, surrounded by the raw, untouched beauty of the Nile’s less-traveled paths.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 Edfu – El Kab – Esna

This morning, your Dahabiya docks at Edfu, home to one of the most complete temples in Egypt. Dedicated to Horus, the falcon god, the Temple of Edfu features soaring columns, intricate hieroglyphs, and giant statues that speak of power and protection. A horse-drawn carriage ride adds charm to your temple visit and brings you through Edfu’s bustling town.

Back aboard, sail toward El Kab, the lesser-known necropolis and ancient city of the vulture goddess Nekhbet. The site is rich in history, home to fascinating rock-cut tombs of governors and nobles who helped unify ancient Egypt. Tombs like those of Ahmose, Paheri, and Setau provide an intimate look at early Egyptian administration and artistry. The day ends with a peaceful sail toward Esna, where your boat moors near the quiet Namesa Village, ideal for stargazing and reflection.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4 Esna – Luxor

Enjoy one final breakfast on the deck of your Dahabiya as you take in the morning light shimmering on the Nile. Disembark to explore the Temple of Khnum in Esna, one of the most underrated gems of Upper Egypt. Excavated from layers of silt and sand, this Roman-era structure honors the ram-headed god of creation, with its vivid columns and intricate ceiling artwork still impressively intact.

From Esna, a private transfer takes you to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes. The grand finale of your journey is the Valley of the Kings, Egypt’s most iconic burial ground. Walk through tombs carved deep into the mountainside, once the resting places of pharaohs like Ramses II and Tutankhamun. With your guide’s expert storytelling, these sacred spaces come to life in a way that’s both awe-inspiring and personal. Your journey concludes with a drop-off at your Luxor hotel or airport—filled with unforgettable memories, deeper understanding, and a heart full of Egypt.
